Board of Directors | Mission Statement

Michigan City Summer Festivals, Inc. is proud to be able to offer its family friendly activities through the summer months each year (and during select months the rest of the year!). For over fifty years, we’ve provided family friendly activities and fun in thriving suburban Michigan City on the beautiful southern shores of Lake Michigan -- all summer long!

Many of the activities are presented for FREE, including the Fireworks, so the Summer Festival relies on 50/50 Ticket sales and T-shirt sales to help offset event costs.

You can help support the Michigan City Summer Festival by buying 50/50 Tickets and Summer Festival T-shirts at Virk’s BP Amoco, located at 1204 Franklin Street in Michigan City, or at the Michigan City Park Department office, located in Washington Park.

Most of the work associated with our events is completed by volunteers, and sponsors help with the costs by providing in-kind contributions, cash donations, and advertising. We thank all of our invaluable volunteers and sponsors for the generous contributions!

And it is through the continued support of Michigan City citizens and visitors that the fun and excitement of the Michigan City Summer Festival is able to continue year after year. Thank you one and all!
